- Bite on the gauze pack for 30-40 MINUTES
- NO eating or drinking for at least ONE HOUR
- After ONE HOUR take some Panadol, Panadeine or Nurofen. DO NOT TAKE ASPIRIN
- No alcohol or smoking for 48 HOURS
- Quite often you will get bleeding after the extraction if you do, bite on the gauze provided for another 30-40 MINUTES
- 24 HOURS after extraction start gently rinsing 4 times a day with a warm salt mouth rinse. 1/2-1 teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water. Do this after meals and before you go to bed
- No strenuous activity or exercise for 24 HOURS
